This company did an ok-ish job with mold removal, water damage, and reconstruction but they threatened to put a lien on my property when I requested to speak to them about the bill prior to paying because it is long, confusing, and overly complicated. During the job they were supposed to be completing their workers were called away multiple days, sometimes did not show up, and routinely showed up late. It is South Florida and I get that is par for the course. HOWEVER, they charge for and and dehumidifiers, etc that are left at the job even when their workers are called away to do other jobs. These fans and other things are extremely expensive for the day and being charged for this is not acceptable. Further, the mold they were treating was due to a water leak and they refused to fix the leak for over a week causing the fans and drying equipment to need to be there even longer and costing more money.

The worst thing about the situation to me was their threat to put a lien on the property just because I wanted to speak about the bill before paying them. Their actions were completely unwarranted and extremely abrasive. Please use caution when dealing with this company.

Mold remediation is exactly what it states. Mold is part of the air we breathe inside and outdoors. I had a white mold problem, the first mold issue ever. I knew very little about the subject. I called SERVPRO of Pembroke Pines. They arrived promptly, Marlene was very helpful in explaining the overall situation. SERVPRO timely went to work. Considering this was the outbreak of the coronavirus, the crew, Elian and George worked at all times with masks and gloves and maintained appropriate distancing. It is not simple work. Mold had spread through most of my apartment. Working with my insurance company, Marlene made every effort to work with the Senior Claims Examiner, Ana and the independent field adjuster, Vanessa. It took longer than I wanted, but they accomplished their mission. Morena, supervised the work and offered to explain the detailed reports which I needed help with truly. I got my apartment back. SERVPRO came through.
